It cannot pass without mentioning that any abnormal addition or modification on the body can lead to some itch. So is the case of aligners that can irritate the mucosa or result in extreme breakouts.
Cases of Anaphylaxis
When your body gets sensitive to foreign modifications, cases of hypersensitivity are most likely to occur. The body can sometimes reject the aligners and lead to severe hypersensitivity reactions.
Sore Throat and Tongue
Generally, there are people with quite sensitive bodies, for example, cases of allergies. Such individuals can experience a sore throat or tongue shortly after wearing the aligner. This can further lead to swelling in other places like the tongue. Consequently, swellings and soreness can lead to other complications.
